Potatoes General Tendency

THE PRICES SEEM TO WANT SE TO STABILIZE.

INDUSTRY

The industrialists are very calm with the purchases and try to touch 200 for some
batches of average quality. But the tendency seems with the stabilization of the prices face
with a resumption of the request of the expenses to export. The average of the prices of the fritable
seem to be itself between 215 and 220 for a good quality. It should be also specified that
many deliveries are done in this moment with contracts of purchases carried out
in a certain panic by the principal transformers in December and January
between 250 and 270. The April term touched its low at 235 Thursdays to finish it
Tuesday to 253. There were financial liquidations of important positions face
with this strong fall (from 340 to 235 in three weeks) and the speculation seems for
moment finished.

Fresh

Russia returns to the purchases for the moment moderate and in clear fall. The offer
is present between 270 and 280 but quality is necessary following many
claims (justified and expensive) noted. It should be said that upwards some
batches nonin conformity, not respecting neither quality nor the gauge were dispatched and that them
pendulums seem now set right. For Europe of the South, the request
is normal and the rather stable prices: from 290 to 320 for the bag of 25 kg and 300
for washable the 7 up to 320 for the 7.5. These countries of the South should remain with the purchase
until the end of April.

NOT LESS FOR THE FRESH, MOROSE FOR INDUSTRY.
